Investment in Class at Max Mara

If you truly want to save on clothes while being impeccably classy, invest in good quality classic pieces. There arguably is no better brand than Max Mara for that. You don’t have to shop in their regular stores- go for the outlets instead- classy pieces are timeless after all. Although they do seem expensive at first glance, they will last you ages.

I hit their outlet stores at the first day(s) of Sales period. In contrary to many other brands, they tend not to discount more throughout Sales period than at the start, so it is a good idea to get there at the very start of sales. Their best outlet stores are in Italy of course, though you will likely find good stuff also in other outlet stores around Europe in particular.

I visited their Spanish outlet store at Barcelona’s La Roca during these sales. It is quite large and items selection is great. Good deals can be found on shoes, bags, accessories, office wear, weekend wear… I don’t particularly fancy the sales assistants there who somewhat don’t seem the most professional- consistent experience throughout the store, so it’s not my favourite store customer service wise (it may be totally subjective observation, so don’t let me put you off by that). Nonetheless, I left home with the following classic pieces, paying 76 EUR for the blouse, 83 EUR for weekend shirt, 186 EUR for a jacket. All with 50% discount off outlet price.

They also sell sister brands Max&Co, Pennyblack, Intrend, so be prepared to spend some time to browse through multiple pieces to choose your next buys.
