This is probably my absolute favorite time of the year: the weather is heating up and the prices are falling down given that the bi-annual Sales start pretty much everywhere!

I especially enjoy luxury hunt during sales in world’s top designer outlet clothing location- New York’s Century 21 (I will be sharing my finds during sales period from there soon). Also, I like to stop by at Brussels DOD store. Their latest publicity promises that goods will be discounted at 50% (from outlet price) during these sales.

Selection of items is unfortunately not consistent at DOD as you can either win big time or don’t find anything reasonable. With some luck though, you may find some well-priced Valentino or M by Missoni, so do stop by there if you have a chance.

Please also don’t forget designer outlet villages during sales- last sales month in particular can send you to shoppers heaven with up to 80% and more (!) of original price. I like Italy’s “The Mall” (in Tuscany) the most during sales period. Yes, it gets really crowded, but the prices are absolutely worth it and the selection of brands is mind-blowing.

Good idea to check out also internet stores http://www.yoox.com and http://www.outnet.com though I’m pretty sure you’ll find way better deals shopping at physical outlet locations mentioned above. If you do not have such opportunity, then these can be an alternative though.
