Gals get crazy about Coach in the US and Asia though perhaps a little less so in Europe.

It is seen a status symbol in some Asian countries and prices there are high enough to match this luxury image which makes Asia not a very exciting place to shop for Coach.

I have therefore partnered with a great fellow Spender- Cassie who is based in the US (remember her describing the hunt of fabulous Prada bag in this blog? 🙂 – in a great adventure.

We decided to visit Coach Outlet stores in both Europe and the US respectively, in about the same time at the end of August, and match the selections and prices!

Our findings reveal quite some price differences!

My findings in Coach Outlet in Spain, Barcelona surroundings, La Roca Outlet Village:

Even if August is still a month of sales in Spain, Coach outlet in Barcelona surroundings did not impress much in terms of sales.

Small Coach leather bag was priced at about 229 EUR, 239- 269EUR was a price for a nice leather bag. Iconic Coach bags with logo were priced at 199 EUR and you could expect an additional 20% percent on some of these models. Leather shopping tote was priced at 189 EUR and the most expensive classic leather bag was at 349 EUR. The cheapest wallet on sale would cost you 99 EUR, otherwise, around 140 EUR.

There were some trench coats too and these cost 200 EUR.

There were much MUCH better deals in the US in about the same time though!

They were having really good deals on everything! There weren’t any shoes or many other clothing items but they did have some coats. All of the coats I saw were 60% off. They also had some scarves there that were on sale for $19!

Besides that, everything else were bags and wallets. These were especially great deals! There were men’s leather laptop satchels, backpacks, large and small purses, satchels, wristlets, and various sizes of wallets. Everything was marked down significantly from regular price.

There was one wall in particular and all of the leather bags on that wall were $99 (regular price $250-$395).

Their wristlets were on sale for $29 (regular price $50-$90). The wallets were also a great deal…there were a select few that were 40%-60% off and others were on sale for $89 (regular price $195-$250). The satchels were on sale for $79 (both leather and canvas…regular price $175-$225).

The bag that I got is a leather “CC” tote…price was $99 and regular price $395!

So NOW we’re talking! Plain and simple: DO shop for Coach in the US outlets if you have a chance and DO NOT bother in other places!
